Cousins

The kids had a playmate today. Their cousin Dorian, who falls right smack between them in age, spent the day with us. I'll get my brag out of the way first: I got all three to nap at the same time. Sure, it only lasted 15 minutes. But those were some pretty blissful 15 minutes.

We ate lunch.

Buds

Oh my, could that face be any yummier? Look at the noodle! Look at the full cheeks! Usually it's all about Mary and Dorian, because Thomas has spent most of his time so far imitating a rock. But Mary was napping, so lunch time was all about the boys.

Buds
They craved each other's food, even though it was the exact same thing.

Noodles

We were led to believe that Dorian doesn't eat. But he liked Uncle Scott's noodles. He made a huge batch before he left for the week. He's such a good daddy (and uncle... and husband, too, I guess).

Watched
Even Susan wanted in on the action.

We played outside, too.

Yay House!
Dorian doesn't have a yard. He likes Mary's playhouse.

House
Mary likes having a playmate who can play.

Pinecone

Dorian found pinecones.

Swing
And Thomas just hung out. Maybe next time, little buddy.
